BIO
Hi there, a little about me. Grew up on a grain farm in Saskatchewan. Married with 2 adult children and three awesome grandchildren. Have been with the same woman for 50 years in the summer of 2025.
I am a retired welder/millwright/machinist. Moved to Alberta in 1979 and moved to Sylvan Lake in 1989. Both our children started school here (C.P. Blakely) and graduated here (H.J. Cody). Our son started out as a teacher, now has his masters in physiotherapy. Our daughter is a pharmacist.
Sylvan Lake is the best town in Alberta, we love the area we live in and all the great things Sylvan has to offer. We are also okay with the energy that comes during Sylvan Summer.
I am running for town council because I feel it is my duty as a long term resident tax payer.
I have a few issues myself that I need to address by getting involved, but more importantly I would like to get input from you residents as to what input you may have, positive or negative.
